In terms of automotive styling, Lamborghini has definitely been one of the more outrageous car brands,sometimes even bordering on insanity.
From the wedgy Countach that succeeded the beautiful Miura, to the Aventador and one-off eye punchers such as the Veneno and the inexplicable Egoista single seater. Even the recent Terzo Milennio electric car concept cements Lambo’s place at the top of the head-turner ladder.
A new competition across social media is allowing young designers, such as Naish Chapman to imagine their own potential Lamborghinis, possibly even more outrageous than what they’ve already produced. Searching the hashtag #LamboChallenge on Instagram or Facebook will result in some of the most inspiring and original ideas you could imagine. Someone has even come up with a Lamborghini hot hatch!
Naish’s proposal takes today’s Aventador theme and evolves it into a more futuristic, focused and lightweight vehicle, with some KTM X-bow DNA in there. The larger intakes allude to the fact that Lamborghini is going to continue with its naturally aspirated V12 with the next Aventador, but the large front duct could be used for cooling an electric motor mounted on the front wheels. The possibilities are endless.
